INFO ON HOW TO TRAVEL SAFELY with the Waterbus

The well-being and health of passengers and crew get our full attention when you travel with us in the Canal Zone.
By respecting the following points and advice, your journey will be a pleasant experience and a breath of fresh air!

Comfort and safety on board

With 2 (interior) decks and enough outdoor space, the Waterbus has the necessary space to enjoy your journey with confidence and peace of mind.

To make it safe and pleasant for everyone on board, we ask you to respect the following points:

Travel carefully and buy your ticket in advance!
Tickets can be booked online via the web shop.
Please note: if the maximum number of passengers on board has been reached, it is no longer possible to book online. You can then choose a different departure time or contact us via contact@brusselsbywater.be or by phone or 02 218 54 60.

Wearing a face protection mask is mandatory for passengers aged 12 and over.
Attention: without a face protection mask, access on board will be denied.
We have a minimum stock of protective masks available on board (€ 1 /piece).

As a regular transportation service between Brussels and Vilvoorde, the Waterbus is no longer subject to the minimum distance requirement of 1.5m between persons as from 4 May 2020.
Until further notice, we will however still respect this directive of 'social distancing'.
We ask you to use the seats marked with a green sticker.
This will make the journey a safe and pleasant experience for all passengers and crew.

Regular hand washing is required according the directives.
On board there is the possibility to wash hands with soap and water in the sanitary area.
A disinfecting gel is at the disposal at the entrance.

Be careful and safe for others! Out of respect for fellow passengers and staff, sneeze or cough in a handkerchief/tissue or in the inside of the elbow.

The navigation schedule has been maintained and all boarding points are served.

There is a payment terminal on board. In principle, cash payments are not accepted. This way we limit physical contact with the crew to an absolute minimum.
